Thank you for visiting my web site. My name is Tom Child and I am running for State Legislature to represent the citizens in district 32A. The district includes Rogers, Dayton, Corcoran, Greenfield, Hassan, Hanover and Western Maple Grove. I am running to give you a true choice in the election this November.

I will support legislation that will reduce wasteful government spending

I believe that you can spend your money more productively than government can.
I believe government should be limited and responsive to your needs.
I believe government should not be involved in your private lives.
I believe each of us should be personally responsible for our choices.
I believe we should balance our budget and reduce wasteful spending.
I believe we need to make justice swift, reasonable and affordable to everyone.

WHAT DO I STAND FOR?

Budget Reform:
We must correct the budget nightmare that has been created by our current legislators.
Education:
Allow our teachers to teach to the needs of their students.
Transportation:
Build enough road capacity to handle the traffic.
Planning:
Assess the future, set objectives and develop a long-term plan.
Environment:
Promote healthy lakes, rivers and wetlands and protect our natural resources.
Energy:
Promote innovative and renewable sources for energy.
Government Intrusion:
Government must not be allowed to intrude into personal areas of our lives, our bodies, our bedroom or our homes.
